Ok now that's done all I can say is if this idea allows people to walk round with a few hundred MGs, it's not a very good idea.

That is amusing. However, it is off topic.



I do think it will be eventually be necessary to avoid players having large objects in their inventory. But then again, part of Minecraft is it's unrealism.

I mean certain items have say, weight points, so tanks for example, make it so that you can only carry, say ten of these weight points in your inventory, whereas materials and ammunition should not be weighted

Come to think of it, where does Steve actually put all his stuff, it's not in his hands and he only has two standard jeans pockets. No room for tanks

Of course. Players can only carry 36 weapons, because that's how many slots the inventory has. Of course, if they have all those weapons, they won't have any ammunition. Or anything else, for that matter. I think that by far the simplest way to do this is to simply not have tanks and stuff be items. Instead of crafting them on a crafting table (which doesn't make that much sense anyway), there could be some other method of creation, like a factory, that results in completed tanks rolling off an assembly line instead of getting put into chests.
