no the mod does point the way of this
because if this mod is almost soley give people means for destruction
people would be less likely to just be happy with city life

Yea but people can turn this aggression against someone specific (the villains or aliens I was proposing for god knows how long). It works simple - you make money to get a better ship , will it be trading or mining or mercenary work or pirating. Then you use that money to go and fry some aliens ... before they fry you.

Well, something people can let their agression out on might be a good idea to keep peace.
Now I get what you want with your enemy aliens.

Really it's just space and spaceships (and starfighters and such), at least the core is anyway, but wars will inevitably ensue

Well it's not a good thing to aim for - Imagine you have a level 1 ship and leave the dock for the first time - just to get blown by a level 20 bully ... This is why there is a need: 1. For someone to protect those ships (that would be the government or military fleet patrolling the SETTLED areas)
2. For someone to take this aggression on himself (guns are there to shoot after all)

This way you manage this aggression in a positive way for the community while not being unfair and still leaving all doors open for all parties. This solution is much more natural and more believable in comparison to moderator fleets. Someone patrolling settled areas and keeping peace makes sense yet doesn’t force you to obey law (just like in Skyrim (And with better guards -.- ) )
