Will there be satellites that will be able to view planets surface? And look for life?

Re: Satellites/GPS
I think between you and Joykler, there are 10 pointless topics in this sub-forum. Sorry if I sound rude, but you aren't really helping.
This is a signature.

Re: Satellites/GPS
They were stuff we've already discussed, but apparently people still wanted to talk about it.

Yes, but Taco has seven, so Mackeroth is completely correct.joykler wrote:i only have three and all three have sparked many new ideas

were my topics pointless ?
Re: Satellites/GPS
Well, they did spark quite a bit of discussion. Nothing ever gets completely decided around here...joykler wrote:were my topics pointless ?

Re: Satellites/GPS
Well, just to answer the topic:
I think sattelites are planned and it should be possible to use a GPS as far as I know.
Scanning for life forms will propably be done with a spaceship.
Questions answered? Good.
Now move on and leave this thread for death or derailment.

Re: Satellites/GPS
Or not!
Here's a good one to think about, space gps stuff? Right, if anyone's played Star Trek Online, they'll know what a brilliant (almost) space travel (Warp Hub) Map they have. What I want to know is, will the map be divided into sectors, not where each one loads separately, for easier navigation? What I mean is so that you can remember where sectors of space are comparative to one another and use that as a point of reference to get to your destination? I think it would make for a much easier travel system.

I still LOVE that game, seeing as it's a ftp-ptw. I haven't spent any real money on it though.fr0stbyte124 wrote:Nobody played Star Trek Online.
