You and your crew would be sued and/or fined for damages and injuries, the ship would be decommissioned for the checking of possible technological issues, the pilot would probably get fired and go into a spiral of depression, then end up as a hobo on the side of some intergalactic bar begging for money, public opinion of your fleet's piloting ability would fall, and that ship's crew would be the brunt of jokes that will last for many years... But other than that, nothing much.

No, it'll be one "galaxy". servers shouldn't be grouped, it doesn't really make sense.

You do realize that there will be 1 major connection, but people will be able to do their own thing on a smaller scale.

No. That's not what I gathered at all. The only means of spacial organization I've heard of is possibly using the server's IP to mark it's location, upon which interstellar travel time is dependent.
