Official Texture Pack for FC

Could I be in charge of gathering and creating textures for futurecraft? I will wait until the redstone update though, due to the major changes in that area of work. And I even textured for flans mod, if you didn`t know, but I made armor.

I don't think redstone will be a great deal in futurecraft ... I can help with the textures or any other picture related stuff as always :) .

No its also completing changing the texture system look it up on the wiki.

I know with the separate files and stuff, it's just cutting the texture pack into squares :) .

Well so far ?i am adding 3 textures and choosing which 16x textures I like best

Yes. I found 16x16 lacking the needed detail while 64x64 might be a little too much, it is still possible though, anything bigger than 64x64 will look odd and consume too much time.

16x16 is traditional minecraft, and would work with even low spec systems, although we could have a 16x16 standard, and then ,Anne later produce a HD texture pack.

I think 16x is perfectly fine, as long as your using voxel-esk textures, those pixels are amazing

You can't it's a lot of work , maybe later. Just to let you know you can't just scale down a 32x32 it will look crap, you will need to redraw it in a much more restricted space. What I like in 32x is that it gives me the space I need to achieve the effect I want. 16x gave me too generic results with no space to give lighting, shadows and texture through my texture. I think that 32x will suit FC the most because in FC you want to go for realism (Do not deny it you won't need those shadows and complicated energy redistribution and lore and what not) and the ships will also look realistic. While you can get good results with 16x they won't look as good as 32x.

For some reason you contradict the gameplay style you want in your design style you want (Round planets *Wink )
