You mean like, a hologram for where everything they want is where they want it to be, just for when you get the materials? That's clever. If someone does that in their world, can anyone else see the hologram?

What would be harder to code: One person having a hologram each or only the host of the server has it and everyone can see everyone else's?

Well, it would take more memory to have an infinite hologram for each person.

I was thinking that hologram build areas would be machine-specific. Someone could enter one shipyard template builder, then other people could come in and join it. The size of the rendered holoworld would be based on need. Then, the players could save it to the server by making a blueprint/template thingy and storing it in a library and/or saving it to their own computers.

Okay, this is how it goes:

The Futurecraft Universe is regulated PvP survival, so that wars are common, but not messy. Creative shouldn't be confined to virtual reality, but creativity should be encouraged through the ability to save, trade, and download designs.
