I can't see how it could be like the show. My problem with what little BSG I've watched is that there's too much character development and not enough space battles. Well good old FS will take care of all your troubles 
You will always find in FS a mod for your taste when it comes to space combat, yea its not an MMO yet it got a story and a loooot of good combat, better than X: Rebirth anyway.

Battlestar Galactica Online, a past project of the company that's making this game. It was fairly decent.
Anyway. Yeah. Just wanted to share since it doesn't have a subscription or the freemium garbage most MMOs are packing on these days, and from what I've seen is a pretty solid sci fi game to boot. Might be worth looking into down the line.

BSGO is still around, but I don't trust Bigpoint's coding worth a damn. At one point SKINS caused the whole game to crash. SKINS.

Easy enough if the skin is missing and you try to load a file thats not there, not that surprising.

I doubt it's much different form STO gameplay-wise.

This thread isn't about BSGO. It's about another game by the company that made BSGO.
