It's far more * to make fly tha you'd expect. Also, BDA needs railguns.

Probably gonna default to a 304 first, they fly a wee bit better.

What KSP-version/Aerodynamics system are you using?

"Hyperlite, you *." -Tau, 0446015.M3

Don't tell anybody, but to this day I have a faint hope for Futurecraft, or something similar to it, to happen. Within my lifetime.

Rapid-fire railguns. That fire HE shells.

Proto, git on dat?

@Sara KSP 1.0.2., stock aerodynamics.

Let me just say that the Exo-Atmospheric (EA) variants with the RAPIERs are a bit sluggish. Comes from having a heavy-ass engine, I guess.

But the Intra-Atmospheric? Fucking hell. Tap the pitch up key and get a 20g 180° turn in a second flat. And get Kerbal-flavoured jam on the inside of the cockpit.

Doesn't happen.
I've pulled Gs that would splatter a human, but the Kerbals come out just fine. Recent studies indicate that Kerbals are made out of a closed-cell polyurethane foam rubber: the same thing most stress balls are made from, and they're quite fun to squeeze. This explains why they don't splatter, and aren't killed by sudden gravitational forces. However, it doesn't explain why the explode into a puff of smoke when they hit something too hard. More studies underway.

Still, they're generally a bit green (pun intended) after a series of circuits around the space center that involved reversing one's direction of travel in less than 100 meters.
