How is it?

I saw TB played it and it looked fun and ridiculous. Sort of like Planetside 2 if they said "Screw Reality, laserguns and jetpacks and powersuits and hovertanks for all!"

I'm downloading, I know you guys have played it. Is it worth it?

While parts of the game are meh, overall it's very good. the "screw Reality" makes it very fun, and if you purchase the "I WANT EVERYTHING!" pack yiu get all the (un-upgraded) weapons, packs, grenades, kits, armors, and stuff for something like $20.00 US. Not cosmetics, but who cares about them?

Or just working your way up the old-fashioned way is also fun, 'specially pwning people with the spinfusor.

love this game. Sort of a mix of TF2 and Tiny Wings (below)

I hadn't thought of that comparison...but it's very, very accurate.

I tried it. Not too much a fan of the race-of-death high speed combat. I can't hit a thing.

Okay, I played it.

1: I have a KD of like 3. That makes me feel happy
2: I like exploding peeps
3: Whoever thought of the idea "Let's give the people skis and jetpacks and rpgs" was a genius.
4: I love it.

There was this one time where I was being chased by a guy and we both were going 100 mph/kps/whatever and I shot him and I realized how stupidly fun this is.

You can adjust for M/h or k/h. I set it on k/h, 'cause it gives bigger numbers.

And Fenway, try leading your targets. Explosive weapons (i.e. most of them) have splash damage, do direct hits are either 1337 or not really necessary.

Oh, and if you want to join the Free Revolutionary Associates of Krill, don't ask, just put FRAK (or some variation thereof) as your clantag. And then go wtfpwn some people.



The only complaint I have with T:A is that it's not Tribes. They call it that, but it lacks the essence. Tribes 2, IMO the best one, has massive maps, cool vehicles, loads of weapons, interesting deployables and tools, and the ability to Annoying Bastard people.
