EVE Online saw an apocalyptic battle not too long ago, possibly the largest in its history, involving no less than 2800 ships simultaneuosly at its peak. Just look at the album. Sweet mother of mercy.

So jealous.

I got into some of those (albeit on a smaller scale) during my tour of duty on BSGO. Not fun, not fun at all.

The people there just knew they would loose their titans. WHY! TITANS ARE VALUABLE!

Other than that, FC need to look like this. BTW has anyone seen the lore behind the battle, its really interesting.

If FC battles look like the mess in that picture I'm going to have to put a gun to my head

Keep in mind, you are only seeing the giant battlecruisers. There's fighters in there as well.

I love the beginning with the realistic sounding chatter.

Was that the one where the Something Awful people got their whiny little asses kicked? I hear they lost about US $17,000 worth of ships in one battle recently. I mock their pain.

That's not at all what I want FC to look like. That many ships, yes, but not in a cluster like that. That looks terrible. You couldn't even move in there.

If anything I'd much rather FC incentivize decent lines of battle and actual plans rather than just rushing in and creating -2 FPS jumbles like in the OP.
