I've tried reciting the scriptures and applied the holy oils and praised lord GabeN. Nothing's worked so far.

Also, praise both Our Lord GabeN and the Server Connection Overlords; generally a sacrifice of two keyboards and an old monitor are sufficient, but flatscreens are better.

Have you tried turning it (the computer) on and off again?
Did you run a windows network diagnosis on the steamstore.com url?
