Sir, You Are Being Hunted

"Sir, You Are Being Hunted is a procedurally-generated British horror in which tweed-wearing robots hunt you for sport." More or less sums it up. It's not really very horror, though. Really the parts I've seen so far head more towards comedy than horror. Yes, you are being hunted. But you're being hunted by moustachioed robots smoking pipes. I ate a dead rat that I found in a telephone booth. It's definitely interesting, although also quite hard. I started with the default inventory, which is empty except for some bandages. One of the others starts you with a gun, which would definitely make a difference. I currently have no options for dealing with robots besides fleeing, but I've found ammo in several places, so guns must be around. Even a single robot will kill you pretty easily if you're caught in the open.

I decided to play around with the guns for a while, so I created a character using the class that starts with them, and I did better so I'm working with that now. Even with guns the game is still hard, though. I'm armed to the teeth and I routinely have to hide from robots that are too numerous to have any hope of fighting. I've managed to collect all of the shards from the center island and two from the north, but there's a Landowner that's taken to wandering around the Standing Stones and I'm starting to see higher-level robots. If this rate of escalation keeps up, looking for the last shard is gonna be pretty nasty.
