EA is giving the original Dead Space away for free until May 8. Check it out on Origin. This probably isn't something I would have purchased, as I'm not into the horror stuff so much, but for free it's certainly worth checking out.

So I tried it, and first, the graphics were worse than I expected. That's OK, though. What's not is that my mouse sensitivity seems way too low, even with it cranked up all the way in the in-game settings (I don't want to screw with it with my mouse itself because that'll mess up every other game I play). Moving my mouse all the way across the pad turns the camera maybe 30 degrees, which is not gonna fly in a shooter. Additionally, as soon as I picked up the first weapon it seemed to get stuck in aim mode, and resisted my attempts to return to normal movement, and I found myself unable to walk through the first doorway even though I'd opened it. So yeah.

Haven't any problems on my end, so IDK what's happening with you.

Also: I HAVE MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE BY PLAYING THIS.
