Still on the fence though, Shit's ungodly expensive for a combat mode and expensive ass models.
Buy it if it comes out, then.

That'd be a bit more sensible than circlejerking what little's available or tearing into it for the sake of being contrary.

Star Citizen backers in a nutshell:

@Tiel that's essentially how I react. Either "Okay, so but it cheap when it comes out a d do the grind," or "Get some fun stuff now and maybe Alpha access," pick one.

Slightly relevant: the number of people who get WHOOSHed by the pricing and such amazes me. Guys, guys, this just in: you're not paying $125 for a fighter, you're paying about $20 for a game, $20 for another game, and $85 to support the development. Even if you forego the package and buy just the ship, it's prced the same way; $x to buy the ship, $y to support development.

The Fine Print, thou shalt read it.

And I get that perfectly. I got my expensive super hornet because A) Its what I want to do in the PU, and B) I wanted to help CIG make this game a reality. Unfortunately lots of other people don't get that

Honestly, I am spending a ton of money on the game, but actually, I don't get a kick out of buying an awesome internet spaceship as much as being actually useful to the development

Error, people are whooshed by the prices because where the money goes doesnt matter, if you have to pay $60 for a game or item even if $59 of that goes to charity or painting rocks the fact is your still payin $60 for it.

Rarely have truer words been spoken.

So wait until release and pay $20.

So impatient.

Do we have any Terran seperatists here, by the way?

Kinda, while I support Terran seperatism, I am unlikely to militarily support them and instead remain quasi-neutral as in that I will economically profit from any military action involved in Terran seperatist movements, possibly giving the Terrans slightly better deals than the Imperials.

I support the separatists in all capacities. Free the Terrans!

(I actually don't know what we're yelling about)

Trying to free Terra and other interested parties from the UEE. While not tyrannical, it is laughably ineffective, and amusingly gutless.
