I write 5 paragraph essay on this and when I try to post it the forum asks for me to relog and every thing is gone. >:(

Anyways, Star citizen is a open sandbox space sim MMO thats sort of like EVE Online. What makes Star Citizen great is that going to be developed on cry engine 3, the lead developer is Chris Roberts, the project already has 39 million pledged, the comany CIG promises that this is going to one of the most graphically intense game of our time (and by their updates it seems to be true), the AAA game isn't being published by those greedy publishers such as EA, the game is going to be buy 2 play meaning no subscription, and who doesn't like being in an awesome capital ship fighting with people all around you.

Yeah showed it already some good time ago. OFC I noticed it because it is basically part of the wing commander franchise, for those who are familiar with the space sim genre this is exciting news as it means more than just revival of the franchise, or at least we hope so, it will depend on the reception of this game.

Well, it is buy-to-play, but AFAIK it is also buy-to-get-awesome-ships where single ships sometimes get as expensive as entire games elsewhere.
At least that's what I heard, feel free to correct me. (e.g. if those ships are only promo bonus content for backers and there is an actual way of getting (other) decent ships ingame without RL-money once it's out.) Because it does seem a little too awesome to me for it to sink into the swamp that is pay-to-win.

Im wondering who said what you just wrote above, because you know the game is not out yet, not even for a beta, that means that it is impossible to know how useful a ship will be or wont be even though there are ship specs (again without being able to fly a single ship those stats don't tell us much), which is why for now I call that a stinking pile of BS, lets hope it will remain this way when we get to the beta. Plus Chris Roberts is not that kind of a man I believe, never met him so I cant tell but from the kind of project he took on himself I believe he won't do such things.

Still undecided on this. I'm considering getting a 315p and goin' exploring, but I'm not sure about the game.

I have an account and the DFM is pretty awesome although my AMD Radion 270x is playing it on low so you do need a good rig to play it.

The ships I have are the avenger and the aurora LN, I'm also thinking about the militarized version of the freelancer as its on sale this week.

For the futurecraft org I think we're the only two who have it so its your choice.
