MEC suits are hardcore. Omnissiah bless them.

I've kinda got satellites over all countries by now. Gonna have EMP'd firestorms over each continent by end of next month. Alien base lying there like a *****, *** ***** waiting to be ****** (kek, scarface reference).
Normal mode is too fucking easy. Classic mode is too fucking hard. Why, oh why?

Don't tell anybody, but to this day I have a faint hope for Futurecraft, or something similar to it, to happen. Within my lifetime.

It was on normal, but the last XCOM base-def mission I did, I ended up with 1 security dude dead and a nice set of 6 kills between the survivors.

Huh.

I'm playing on normal now, fuck classic, I ain't got low enough blood pressure for that. The first one died because she was at the balcony on the commando central's end opposite to the workshop when in the third or so round about ten freaking enemies fell out of the sky. She ran, but the disc slaughtered her, helpless overkill. The second died when a muton berserker beat him to a pulp, the black guy in the MEC served him back, tho. The rest went rather smoothly, I even captured the etherial, even though he mind controlled the only guy with a pulse beam for a while after the first try failed. 95%, dude. 95% and he still missed.

Yeah, MECs are hardcore. I love those super-punches and flamethrowers.

There are six chryssalids, all on neighboring tiles, what do you do?

Shoot a rocket straight to the ground, of course. And then man up as your squadmate is shooting another one right at you after that.

(Shortly after...)
MEC-suit with reactive sensors and particle cannon.

>is shot at
>shot misses
>turns to fire back
>particle cannon charges, aiming at the target's head
>"Oh boy, you really shouldn't have done that..."
