That's why I am aiming to controll all the uranium in the entire world.
Remember CIV-IV where an ICBM caused fallout which specially trained workers had to clean up? They also made global warming happen.

Re: Civilization
Just reviving this thread because I got the most hillarious bug ever.
Suicidal city states.
PS: later it turned out the world generator accidentally made two Almatys who ended up hating each other, but at the time it looked like a suicidal city-state lol.

Re: Civilization
Revive because fuck this shit.
Tried doing a playthrough as Japan on a small continents, Suleiman spawns across the entire continent. I have a second city, been having to devote most of military power to barbarians, when suddenly he declares war (?) rolls in with a huge army of 5 warriors and 5 archers (?!) and it's backed up by a great general. Not even turn 100 yet. Fuck this.
Oh, and BONUS SHIT: I whittled down every single one of his warriors to no health, and somehow he heals every single one to full health instantly and steamrolls my capital. What the fuck.

Too bad mods can't alter the terrain or models or most textures in any way.Forum wrote:Huh. Apparently there's a mod for the various Mass Effect races in Civ V.

You are obviously not familiar with how Civilization works.Lord Ceilingcat wrote:Let's go make some FC nations, strigiforme get negative 9000 happiness but +100 production.
Cities can only grow with positive or neutral happiness.
Settlers can only be produced if a city is above a certain population.
As it is physically impossible to counter 9k unhappiness, the Strigiforme would be limited to one city and 100 production for the entire game.
While this means a GDR every 5 turns, they can't produce them without uranium.
They would also be total shit at research and not leave the renaissance until others have legit tanks.

Re: Civilization
Hah. Reaper civ starts with 1 GDR (obtensibly a stand-in for a Reaper cap-ship) and can turn out a Husk every turn.
And research pretty much every tech in 1 turn.
Mad OP. It's fun.

Re: Civilization
I heard modding for Civ V is pretty easy. Might try and make a Futurecraft mod.

String informs are special, they ignore happiness rules and get notgolden ages from unhappiness.Ivan2006 wrote:You are obviously not familiar with how Civilization works.Lord Ceilingcat wrote:Let's go make some FC nations, strigiforme get negative 9000 happiness but +100 production.

If you have it on steam you just got to go to tools and use the SDK I believe. Map making is such fun!Ivan2006 wrote:I heard modding for Civ V is pretty easy. Might try and make a Futurecraft mod.
