Flak frigates, a Halcyon carrier, and a few light frigates. Done and done.

And also, fighters can only be built from carrier things (like an orbital hangar or a cap ship).

Hangar defenses for all three races.

Aenima Drone Host for the Advent
Percheron Light Carrier for TEC
I think it's Lazurak Transporter for Vasari

and then the carrier-class cap ships

All caps can carry fighters, although they don't all start with them.

Bombers are nearly always more useful IMO. Fighters exist to pwn LRMs and kill enemy bombers while your bombers maul the caps and heavy cruisers. When I'm Advent I can conveniently load each carrier with 2 bomber squadrons and 1 fighter squadron, but when I'm TEC I have to go half and half, or make a flight of carriers just for bombers. :(

Early game in small skirmishes fighters can be better as they're more effective against light frigates, unless you're planning on being really offensive and pushing into enemy territory to take out buildings

Alright when do you go online ? Today is a bad day for it though as the high-up generals want to see us in one row today. Im glad they organize buses back and fourth but even with this the buses only go to the unis where we study, Im lucky to live where I study and even then I will return at around 00:00 am, the poor souls that don't live here will have to get somehow home without any public transport available. Hope the general of the army and the minister of defense enjoy their day but that means I wont be on steam today.

Don't tell anybody, but to this day I have a faint hope for Futurecraft, or something similar to it, to happen. Within my lifetime.

I'll play if I can. I've got some Star Wars Day stuff going on this weekend so I may not be able to.
