Not if they are capable of rebuilding their ships with loads of shields and weapons and then come after you.
Maybe non-seeking missiles might be better against NPCs...

I'm playing single player, so it's hard to hit other people. Heat-seeking is the best because I can fire them then GTFO.

I found out something interesting recently. If you build a ship in SP, then copy it to your clipboard thing, then take it to MP, you can copy it to the server's clipboard and buy your SP ship.

I know what I'm doing.

So I'm working on this ship that will essentially be entirely composed of shield generators. It'll be an APC to get people to enemy ships to break them apart.

Technically, there is no real SP, it's just your local server.

So, seeing how often I have been playing this game for now, I have been thinking of buying a server. And after seeing how much trouble you lot have had finding a good server, I have decided to ask here;

ANYONE INTERESTED IN AN (un)OFFICIAL FUTURECRAFT SERVER.

I am willing to pay for the fees myself, and will happily add the admin/mods of these forums to to admin list on the server. Just a thought I have whilst looking at prices, and thought I would ask before actually doing anything in case anyone had any issues with it.

My brother (actually my brother, not just me pretending. I wouldn't waste my money on something someone else already does) owns and maintains a nice server, and his friends aren't on often so it'd mostly just be us.
