Planet Explorers (Holy Crap)
7. The FPS is good but occasionally it stops for a few seconds, especially when modeling.

So do I. Game's not quite a slideshow but it's unbearable to play, even at super low settings.

Re: Planet Explorers (Holy Crap)
Seriously, what kind of computers? Mine has a Nvidia 640 (Low by today's standards) and it plays exceptionally well on medium, less so on high. Please post specs.
EDIT:
Minimum Requirements
Dual 2.0Ghz CPU, 2GB RAM, OpenCL compatible GPU (DX10.1+), 2GB HD
Recommended
Dual 3.0Ghz CPU, 4GB+DDR3 RAM, Win 64bit, DX11 GPU, 2GB HD
WHAT computer does not have at LEAST this?

The old laptop designed for XP-commercial use I had little more than a year ago that was unable to play Minecraft without crashing?

Re: Planet Explorers (Holy Crap)
Precisely. Any reasonably updated and modern computer should be able to play this.

To be honest... I actually don't know if it's high end or not. I got it for Christmas 2011 as my first laptop so it's over a year old now. I'm just guessing it's not high end because my Dad wasn't really looking for an expensive gaming computer when he bought it :3

Re: Planet Explorers (Holy Crap)
then again I've learned from minecraft that system requirements dont mean much. Minecraft runs slower than Planetside 2 and many other HQ games on my computer.

Re: Planet Explorers (Holy Crap)
Fenway, most laptops under the 500 range don't have discrete graphics. I myself have a 6320 Radeon HD which is integrated within the CPU, and while it meets all the 'requirements' it simply doesn't have the juice to power the game. This game is in no way lightweight, so kindly step down from your high horse.
@Kobi It's not, your graphics card is probably an HD 2000, 3000 if you're lucky. It's 2nd gen, though, so I'm not surprised if it's served your needs well; Intel learned a lot from the first gen integrated gpus on their processors.

so what your saying is my computer isnt bad but it wasnt built as a gaming computer either. however its good enough to meet most of my gaming needs.Tiel Attentus wrote:Fenway, most laptops under the 500 range don't have discrete graphics.
