Re: Rogue System
and PC's can be modded however you like. All you get for console games are DLCs released by the developer. :PProfessor Fenway wrote:Lets weigh them:
PC
Pros:
Can be upgraded
Versatile
Multipurpose
Portable (Laptops)
Open System
Better Quality
Unlimited amount of games available
Publishers have a harder time screwing you over
Cons:
Expensive
May be difficult to set up
Can be large
Consoles
Pros:
Easy to set up
One system multi-player
Compact
Cheap
Cons:
Closed system
Low quality
Limited amount of games
Less precision
'Dumbed down' games
Cannot be modified
Prone to breaking
Can be screwed over by publishers
It's really a back-forth battle, consoles for accessibility vs. PC's for versatility/power/quality.
PC is not dying, it's just that major publishers are putting out less games for it, or are pushing more for consoles. I enjoy both, but neither is going to die anytime soon.
Until Virtual Reality and Holographics kick in. No wait, just integration!

Yea. See the big publishers begin to screw it up. How much time have passed since BF3 ? A bit mroe than a year and they already plan to release a new game on a "new" engine. We both know that a game can't be released so fast. It is only because it will be identical in almost any way to BF3. CoD broke the record last year with 2 titles in the same year, again all the same. People are tired of the same all over again and of shameless money machines, so they go to new things. It doesn't even have to be indie titles , Dishonored got so popular exactly because of it. It's a new title that did everything right and brought something new to the table.

Re: Rogue System
EA could have made sooo much more money by reselling the original fifa/any other sports game and then charging 60 bucks for new skins and 50 bucks for new rosters. All of the EA sports games sell extremely well by using the same assets for about 10 years.fr0stbyte124 wrote:I see your rehash and I'll raise you a recycling.Iv121 wrote:Yea. Halos been a pretty active series... Two games in 2009 and not surprisingly, they are the ones everybody likes the least.
