April 3: Played for an hour, almost entirely as Infiltrator. I got one of the new Service Medals for my sniper rifle. They're pretty nice. I had a more than .5 K/D today, too, which is pretty much my best so far.

So I received and fixed my new laptop today, and the first thing I did was go into Planetside 2 and deploy in a contested area. Surprisingly good, the GPU held a steady 40 FPS, but the only thing I seem to be able to accomplish is to keep beating my record for fastest deaths in a video game. Seriously, I see a guy = I AM NOW DEAD. Sometimes even my own team xD

Not necessarily. Any game you run is going to demand parts both the CPU and GPU; if it were just the former you wouldn't see people see the latter getting stressed out during a PS2 match (handy ALT+F).

It's possible to run PS2 on the hidden Ultra graphics with an integrated GPU. 'Nuff said.

Fought the NC in the Vanu Archives for a few hours today.

What they'd do is sneak up into the facility and keep capturing this one room, then inching just the barrels of their guns out of the spawn room shielding, glitching so that they could shoot out of it without risking damage to themselves. We managed to push them back a few times before finally getting beaten back ourselves. Bloody exploiting NC cowards..

It's not an exploit. Anyone can shoot OUT of spawnroom shields, that's how the game is designed, to prevent spawn camping.
