Just observation.

Planetside 2 is CPU bound. It pretty much uses the GPU for physX and nothing else.

Here it is on inegrated graphics, low settings. It runs better than it does on my school laptop, which has a mid range nVidia card from 2010.

Also, the Ultra settings are available by editing the game's files manually but do not appear in game.

Not really, about the same as a second gen i5 performance wise judging by the video.

No, it's a hidden setting in the game's .ini.
