It'd been debated quite a bit.

If it were a seaborne vessel, it wouldn't have the repulsor-drive-thingies that let it float. The better picture also notes it was part of the TR's spess navy before being cut apart to make a combat airship.

Also, the FLAK turrets are on the top, to shoot the flying things. The battleship guns are on the bottom to bombard ground turrets.

There's also some turret on the bottom of the ship, I don't think you want to be firing a cannon underwater.

Well they have NOT been working on the water physics at all. Theres a large bay north of the TR Indar warpgate where the TR territory overlaps the water. A quick hike down a canyon, and your sitting under the water. It's basically just a 2D, blue, texture that sits there doing nothing. I've attempted to return to that area but I think it was the fault of a bug that I even got there the first time because now every time I attempt to return I die or explode halfway down the chasm.

Also, if you look carefully you can see there are several turrets underneath. It's totally gonna fly. However, it would be freaking awesome to have submarine battles. :P
