Might be an opportune time to pick a better name. Also for someone else to get it this time around

I'll pick it up, but what sort of domain were you thinking? None of the obvious ones were available last time.

Does this mean we can pretend to be from New Zealand? fc-mod.nz
fc-mod.uk
fc-mod.ru
This brings me to a question; why don't Americans use .us?

Because unless websites are in a funny language, they are all American by default.

www.fc-mod.uk and be proper peoples of the Empire instead of heathen rebels like the Americans here?

Well, with futurecraft.at everyone just has to learn Schwarzenegger accent and avoid certain topics when the BVT(Austrian secret service responsible for *-hunting and counter-terrorism) shows up.

Country domains look sketchy, and will imply that we're not situated in the US (no offense to the half of you that are outside the US, but our current and future servers live in the US so deal with it.)
Also, I don't think fc-mod is all that bad of a domain.

I'm sorry, haven't you been working on a website for people who speak a funny language for several years?

No, I'm suggesting the name be changed to something more creative than minecraft and future being thrown together. The whole idea of chastising prospective modmakers over such an uncreative label on the basis of a project that's not even playable yet (basically doing the equivalent of 'I called it first!') is really silly when it'd be simple as pie to just change ours.
I know there's some sentimental value for the current name but I really think we'd benefit in the long run in choosing a different more vibrant one.
