You don't have to be logged in to talk in the chat. I'm not sure that's a great idea.

Hmm, not sure if that can be changed. Tau and Tiel are the ones who set it up IIRC.

I set it up, only Tau has access to admin now so bark him up :P

I can't how to config. I'm new to this stuff. Give me a while, I'll figure it out.

Can we get a chat on our front page now ?

Also, the chat doesn't automatically scroll down once you have more than a page of conversation. O_o What kind of miserable excuse for a chat doesn't even do that? You have to keep scrolling to see new replies.

I like it better than having to make everyone stop typing if you need to see the archives.

It doesn't have archives. It doesn't auto-scroll. In other terms, it's much shittier than I remembered. I'm actively looking for an alternative.

Every time I log into the chat, exactly two seconds later the one other person in there is timed out. This has happened four times in a row. The first two could have been a coincidence, but four is a bit much. I dunno what's going on there.

It would seem that those people had already timed out, and that it wasn't indicated in the chat until somebody else logs in.

Turns out automatic scrolling can be turned on and off. Chat still sucks though.

Speaking from an objective perspective, wtf. There are no other integrable chat services out there.

All chats suck except for very specific ones that conform to whatever illogical features I may want at that moment.
