Noooooo, I actually quite like IE, maybe its just because I'm used to it; but I prefer it to chrome and firefox The Text doesn't work in chat on safari either, though I was on the ipad so it might work on pc.

I am on chrome and I saw the problem as described; changing the page white with only the rainbow text on it. The fact remains that the users who attempted to exploit the bug were fully aware of this result; regardless of what actually came of it their intent was still malicious in nature. Hence why as a user I strongly feel there should be consequences for such behavior.

Problem is I am on chrome and I couldn't see anything, two people claimed this happened however ... How bad is it ?

Well the consequences for the behaviour is that someone had to look at a white screen with rainbow text for 0.5 seconds.

I wouldn't call this one major, it's just what if it started doing this for other things, also most of the so called abuse was testing to see exactly what caused it, with a joke bolted on, poorly.

For all those who do not carefully read text, this event occurs in chatbox only. All browsers are probably affected. It does not work with punctuation besides periods in the text.

Ah, that was the critical piece of information. Previous tests had all included some other form of punctuation. Yes, it happens on Firefox, too. It means you have to reload the page. This is not a huge issue.
