It's about how subdomains are handled in the url. Class B means the site allows you to use http://www.futurecraftforums.tk but it all traffic is redirected to http://futurecraftforums.tk. Class A is the default for most servers and treats the www subdomain and no subdomain identically. Class C is the most stringent and refuses access using the www domain.

In general you want the subdomain usage to be as well-defined as possible, so B is better than A.
Also, it is worth noting that this is not an actual rule, but more of a suggestion from no-www.org, and there are people who think it should be just the opposite, and that every site should make use of the www subdomain.

The W3C test is just about the only test that really matters, as this relates to how the site is going to work across browsers.

If they take issue with whether a site uses a default subdomain, I can't imagine there is anything terribly extreme about them.
