If you need to get the site cost neutral, just set up a donation link. I for one would rather donate and have an ad-free site, and we can combine it with the general server fund once the MMO is running.

For now and the forseeable future, Futurecraft still looks like vaporware. The only thing keeping it from turning into a scam is the fact that we've asked for nothing from our audience but their patience.
That's how it has to be for now. We can't afford to generate any ill will or hostility towards the project while we are still unable to back up our claims.

Agreed asking for cash with nothing to show makes you look like a con artist, and while money helps it isn't smart to ask for it when you can't prove a thing.
