Is it at all possible to add a chat or some kind of temporary public message board to this forum?

If enough people want mChat I'd be willing to figure out how to make it work with this forum style.

Better than they spam the normal forum places with requests about when FC will be done or Minceraft gift codes.

Nothing? Well, though I am sorry to doublepost, this should be addressed. I'll say one thing.
Do want.

For the record, I vote no. Because the chatbox on the last forum was used....highly inappropriately.

Would you prefer that stuff was posted normally? The chat box stuff disappears.

It won't be:
1. There are mods
2. Most people think a bit longer before posting on the forums.
3. As you see there is no spam on the forums (yet ...

)

A chat box could be rather useful, it would be an alternative place to hold discussions without having to make lengthy posts on a thread, where such posts may be in danger of starting arguments that derail threads.
Of course there will be morons people who misuse the chat box, but that is much easier to ignore compared to multiple moronic posts on a thread.
I vote yes, because it could come in handy, say for example X has to explain to Y how to do Z, but the explanation has to be real time, and it would be much easier for X and Y to converse over the chat box rather than on W's thread.
