Well, technically we could still get Rivvs to sing it.
He's quite strict about copyright issues though, so I'm gonna try to get a written permission for a remix by the original artist.

It's our best bet so far. I suggest keeping the overall melody and maybe switching out some instruments, but keeping it at that.

Well whats the point ? You didnt give a single reason to make it all and now technically there is no point to it as you basically say "lets leave nothing from the theme we took and make a theme out of it !"

Not really, music is a fairly lax subject with copyright issues. Parodies usually aren't bothered for free things and with written permission no one would really care.

Well I would have had to have read the whole thing for me to be able to decide to delete part of it, now wouldn't I?
