Actually, that sci-fi doom/prog/stoner metal band I keep spamming might let us use one of their songs, they're independent IIRC.

Hey, it's better than Owl music.

Well "Rotate Yo Owl" was a pretty catchy tune.

How's this: But now she's back in the atmosphere, blocks of Jupiter in her ha-a-a-ir.

Why "blocks of Jupiter"? Why not "Jovian blocks"?

Because "drops of Jupiter" is an actual song. By a group called Train, if I recall correctly.

Do you think I listen to anything other than mixes and game soundtracks?

Depends on the anthem, are we having a war never changes style speech where the narrator is describing terms in a deep gruff voice? Or like a depressing war song?

Something akin to war never changes/ call to arms speech.

On foreign lands, we mark our graves.
Always moving always fighting, the only escape is death.
And even then we've found ways around it.
Technology. Technology always evolving and changing to the needs and desires of the people.
But for what? Resources? Power? Control?
Out there it's dog eat dog.
Only the strongest survive while the weak are washed away in the flood of history.
Backstabbing is common. Trust no one.
You might be a god emperor, or just some lowly pirate in this violent universe.
But now, the real question is.
What will you do? Will you survive?
Will you mark forever in the history books an empire that will stand the yet of time?

Yes. And the syllables are off.

Eugh, that's boring. We need a song, not an explanation. Or if it is a speech, it has to at least give me chills.

Who will compose?

I sucm at songs, but...hmm.

We could just pick an instrument, do the 4 chord thing, and write some lyrics, like every band ever?

example of what we are aiming for:

Echoes from the west
Great hammers will fall
Under high rocks all will
Answer the call

Bring us your arms
Pariahs of yore
All faces turn now to war
Exiles of the ash

Stare through crimson glow
Guards of the north
Sing their songs of the snow

Bring us the breath
Of the marshes and rain
Courage is rising again!

War will weather the souls of the lost
Stand together whatever the cost
Shields will falter and many will fall
Time has come for us all
To answer the call

Pride of Summer’s shores
Guide the voices of kings
Children of bark
They will tighten their strings

Bring us the wits
Of the warm southern sands
Clouds over all of the lands

War will weather the souls of the lost
Stand together whatever the cost
Shields will falter and many will fall
Time has come for us all
To answer the call

White gold
Burning sky
(For the souls of the lost)
Purify

War will weather the souls of the lost
Stand together whatever the cost
Shields will falter and many will fall
Time has come for us all
To answer the call

Yes. Yes, that is what we are looking for.
