You owe Tau a shitton for paying out of his own pocket to run the place, true. I think he sold his PS4 and forwent a lot of personal stuff to pay for hosting.

Though not to brag (but totally to brag) - look at the bottom of the page. It's pretty stable by nature.

Not that this forum hasn't been steadily going into the shit hole for a while. The FC pack is the only thing actually worthwhile and, now that we've agreed to abandon the RP, there's not much fun to be had.

So start permabannig people that have been here for years. Most have already left. Our projects fail, our stories die, apathy is spreading like a disease. There's not even anything decent to argue about. Call me a pessimist, but I think, in a few months, it'll be time to put the forum to rest. Maybe hand it off to proto and let a new wave of FC pack followers replace us.

Nah, you guys don't owe me anything. I used the VPS for a lot more than just the forum, mainly as a high-speed meshnet node (routing about 100 gigabits per month, last I checked). If anything, go talk to Proto - he's paid for at least half of our hosting over the past year or so.

"yeah the sites dead lets all beat the crap out of each other and never talk again !" , sheesh communities rise and die by the thousands on the internet daily, its perfectly normal and you don't have to isolate yourself from former forum members either, its not like you all gonna die when this place is closed. I don't really care whether this place is down or not, its not a big deal. The ppl I hang out with are still there and if I want to I can always talk with em. I keep in touch with enough random ppl from loads of diff places, prev forums I've been on and stuff, Im sure you can as well if lets say you all wanna be friends of proto for example !

considering what’s going on I will prob leave my contact info in case you ever want to reach me dunno, skype and steam are Iv121, look it up I doubt you'll miss it. Currently I dont really hang out in any specific place but if I decide to settle in somewhere Ill let you know as well (those who want ofc). Anyway if you wanna find me there’s no way you'll fail.

Don't ban Tiel; he's pretty funny, and if what he says genuinely offends you, then you're being far too sensitive.

As for the forum, I refute that the RP is dead; it's only sleeping. But we will need to get new members, likely from the FC pack. They'll not be like people who are currently here, but they'll be members nonetheless.

ikr? People have such thin skin.

RP is pretty dead tho. I feel like what's going to happen is doing what you suggested a while back and turning the forum into a place for FC pack.

...no?

I just have no access to this account when I'm not using Chrome and the saved login info, and I've been using school PCs. Should probably get around to changing the pass to something I know.

this is how I login. The password was saved to Chrome at some point and it autofills the field. I just changed it, but up until now I've had to rely on that. Before I gave Chrome another chance a few weeks ago I couldn't get in at all. Never could get the reset email, not sure if that's a board issue or if it's linked to an old email account.

e: lol nvm, definitely an old account, also can't change pass

so, not a permaban. Which is pretty much pointless, yes.
