Should be able to throw a bunch of models your way, Manus finished the .obj exporter so I can port stuff over.

Apparently he's releasing this soon.

Someone would have to go over and manually boolean all the parts to make it work properly. Multipart meshes are fine, but every face being represented by its own object lends to optimization issues when more than a handful are being rendered.

I don't think it will matter, though. The way things are going this might as well just die if I'm going to be the only one working on it. I've had the luxury of time over this past week or so but that won't continue to be the case.

So it turns out, like every other frigging modeller out there, the one I have now is ass-backwards like hell.

Will need some time to go over the tutorials and stuff.

So, we need to go recruit more people? Or do we all need to start learning coding?

Who is going to be the organizer? Have we forgotten about that? It's a pretty important thing.

I think Tiel is maybe kinda organizing? I'm still trying to figure out this modeller and find a decent graphics program, i lost my f*cking copy of illustrator.

Tiel said himself he is a bad organizer. So I dearly hope he isn't.

I've been sitting here waiting for you to get your crap together. Nothing's really been done on my end since I made that post.

I don't want to, mainly because I'd try to stop giant space owls from being a thing and all of you knuckledraggers would get tick. But I can try if no one else does.

I can try to help coordinate, considering I have nothing else of note to contribute. I'll try to scribble together some ideas later.

@cats We really ought to discuss your hatred of sentient avian life forms.

The biggest thing is that owls are just a huge joke that stopped being funny a while ago but were thus designed to be so audacious that they can't fit into anything serious. It's a dangerous existence the Strigiforme dwells in, one that's sustained more by tradition than desire. So the obvious choice would be to just do away with them entirely. The second that you've refused to consider up to this point is to enhance your faction so that it can be taken seriously without making it stupidly evil in the process.
