Glad to see Frost still intends to see this through, even if people wander off. Don't worry Frost, I still want to see this through, even if it's dead/dormant for now. Heck, maybe if we wait long enough I'll eventually learn to code and help out. In the meantime, other devs are working on helpfull things such as Cubic Chunks(yep, a new author picked it up), and other games, a very suprisingly large number of other games, with similar ideas(Seeds of Andromeda, Blockade Runner, Starforge, Space Engineers). And as we wait, technology marches on, meaning we have a little bit more leeway performance wise...

Also, speaking of Seeds of Andromeda, I just watched his two videos on how he created his spherical planets, and its interesting, but it still makes me thing we should go for cubical planets. It's MUCH easier, it doesn't have so many difficult to solve issues, and in my opinion it looks better and seems more 'Minecrafty'. Everyone and their mother is doing spherical planets, I think cubical ones would just be more unique and interesting.

Besides, tell me living on a planet like this wouldn't be awesome:
