Broadcasts In The Darkness: An RP Brought To You By Vinyl Scratch

Broadcasts takes place 20 years prior to Corruption, and is played in the form of logs and news broadcasts. You are expected to behave by the rules outline below. Participation is not required, but is encouraged, especially of the more important faction players (Ivan and ACH, looking at you). For ease of log writing, it is advised to refrain from making reference to the year because we never bothered to figure that out for whatever reason.

This RP is to provide a formal outlet for our factions, to become a holder of a recognized faction, you must first either be present in Arc III, or fill an Arc III form. Next, your application must reflect your faction 20 years prior to Corruption. This new app will then be either accepted or rejected by a GM, who will most likely inform you of corrections to make. Broadcasts will come to a close once any of the following are met: Arc IV begins, the RP is rebooted, or the point at which the Cavnin and Codice begin their battle.

RULES:

- Godmodding is a no-no unless you’re a GM.
- Only knowledge that your faction knows may be used (IE, content from a broadcast or BASIC common knowledge).
- Reasonability, you don’t have a whole ton of ships, because with the Codice fleet, you shouldn’t need to have a standing army.

- The GM’s role is to make sure you don’t break these rules. So if they tell you to change something, CHANGE IT.
- Cats, Proto, and Fenway are GMs unless they choose not to, and if so, always have an open invite.

Who said this has to be valid? It's the most refined of all of our RPs so far IMO, and it's the most current in its timeline. Why can't we use it for a fun little side thing to pass the time, I didn't spend much time on this and it'll be no loss for me if no one plays, but there's still the availability, which is why I made this in the first place.

I wouldn't say we're technocrats, and the SPI is the same as Poland, Chile and Argentina. But I am thinking about revising the numbers.

Misc: At this point in time, we are only aboard a small corvette named the Firestar that has just been refurbished thanks to the Zuguthian Empire. As such we are in their debt and work for them as a scout/expiremental ship while looking for a planet we can call our own.

'Zuguthian Empire' is not an alliance. You can say you are allied/affiliated with the Zuguthians, but the 'alliance' part is mostly for indicating whether you are in the EC, the SDI or the UGC.
