Dark Heresy
So I have an idea, some friends and I have been toying with running a Dark Heresy (Think D&D but set in the Warhammer 40k universe) campaign via Skype using a program called Maptool and a pre-existing framework modified for the new Second Edition which will be launching soon. I'll be GM'ing some sessions but I'm hoping that I can more often take part as a player. Anyone interested?
EDIT: We'll be using First Ed for now, the rules have been posted. Everyone who's interested should PM me their normal weekday/weekend availabilities (Including time zone), so I can find a good time and have a list of who's playing. I'll also need your Skype. What will happen is, we'll spend the first day (Probably next Friday night) generating characters and the like, and start the play sessions the next time we have enough people free.

Re: Dark Heresy
Never heard of Dark Heresy, mind giving me a quick rundown of it?

It's like D&D but in the Warhammer 40k universe. Actually quite fun with the right group.

I love 40k.
So does Vinyl.
I doubt either of us know how to play tabletop worth a damn though.

Re: Dark Heresy
I play a Champions campaign IRL, I might want to play. why are you using D&D for this, though? I only have B/X edition.

I'd love to take part, but I'm afraid I don't know two shits about D&D.

Re: Dark Heresy
He might have meant 'like D&D' in the sense that it's a roleplaying game, and he's using the warhammer 40k roleplaying game. D&D is a horrible system and you'd have to redo everything to make it work for WH40k.
If that's the case, please clarify.

Re: Dark Heresy
So how would this work? Like, a week or so before you distribute a character sheet or equivalent, and then when we start you GM while we tell you what we're doing, or wat?
