The United Andromedan Colonies (UAC) are a alliance of the forty seven colonies established within the Andromeda Galaxy, with Phalanx Industries as its economic and industrial backbone. It is a peaceful, non agressive group, and has allied with the natives of the Andromeda Galaxy. Inter Galactic transportation is handled like so: The Milky Way and Andromeda galaxies are linked via the wormholes in their respective Supermassive Black Holes, stabilized via quantum gate. This was built collaboratively by NeoRome and the UAC.

Special tech: Quantum Gates (Like an inter stellar warpgate, uses quantum tunneling to travel instantaneously) However, there are only 2 quantum gates, but all nations share them. They take 1 month to charge, but are capable of
sending 60 ships at a time.
Population: 75 precent unaltered humans, 20 precent Andromedan, 5 precent altered humans (Various types)

All alliances with the UAC/Phalanx Industries are handled here, as well as war.

If this is for the official RP (which I´m assuming, since you mentioned the UGC), please note that intergalactic travell is commonly considered OP.
Noone else of us can visit other galaxies in a reasonable ammount of time, and you being able to would weight far more than all our special techs, power and anything else we have combined, as you can just "run away" so far that we won´t be able to send a reasonably sized battle capable fleet after you, and by the time they would arive, you´d be very well prepared.
Please scale down a bit.

Ok. How about I say something like: There are only 2 quantum gates, and all nations share them. They take 1 month to charge, but are capable of sending 60 ships at a time. Does that work, as far as degrading OPness?

Ask Fenway, but I think not.
If you were to want to escape, you could just deny access to the gates followed by your fleets fleeing through both gates, disallowing anyone to follow you for a month.
That´s more than enough time to prepare a suitable defense, enen not considering you could just put a self-destruct on the gates set to blow them up once you´re through.
I suggest scaling it down from intergalactic to interstellar, considering noone else builds large warpgates, totally legit special tech.
