The Unified Earth Government, or UEG, is the central civilian government that administers Earth and its colonies throughout a portion of the Orion Arm of the Milky Way galaxy. It houses the Colonial Administration Authority, the UNSC, as well as the UN.
During the Human-Covenant war, the UNSC has assumed the governing function of the Unified Earth Government in the face of overwhelming Covenant threat. It is not known what its functions are after the war.

The UNSC Navy is the branch of the UNSCDF responsible mostly for naval operations in space, though they sometimes operate in the oceans with their terrestrial arm. Its roles include ship-to-ship combat, orbital bombardment, the deployment of atmospheric and space fighters, and the delivery of UNSC Marines, including ODSTs, into combat.

The UNSC Marine Corps is a branch of the UNSCDF that is responsible for land-based military operations, as well as the protection of Naval vessels and installations from attack.

The Orbital Drop Shock Troopers (ODST) are a special operations capable organization of the UNSC Marine Corps that specialize in orbital-dropped shock infantry and special warfare tactics. The ODSTs are one of the primary Special Operations units of the United Nations Space Command, and is under the supervision of Naval Special Warfare Command.

The Office of Naval Intelligence, acronym ONI , is the intelligence service branch of the UNSC Navy. Its formal name is the UNSC Military Intelligence Division.

The UNSC Air Force is an aerial division of the UNSC Defense Force (UNSCDF) along with the UNSC Army, Navy, and Marine Corps. The UNSC Air Force serves as an aerial defense and support force, primarily deploying from UNSC Navy vessels or from terrestrial airbases.

The UNSC Army is a branch of the UNSCDF, primarily responsible for land-based military operations. They deploy primarily from pre-established bases located on a planet's surface[citation needed] as opposed to the Navy Vessels that the other branches of the UNSCDF deploy from.

The SPARTAN Programs are a series of UNSC projects designed to create generations of physically, genetically, technologically, and mentally superior "supersoldiers" as a special fighting force within the UNSC Military.

The UNSC Department of Commercial Shipping, abbreviated "DCS" is an organization in the UNSC responsible for maintaining the UNSC commercial fleet and regulating interstellar commerce and shipping between colony worlds.

AMG Transport Dynamics, also referred to as Asklon, is a vehicle manufacturing company. Its headquarters were formerly in Sydney and New Mombasa before the invasion of the city in 2552. It had contracts for light-armored vehicles for the UNSC Army, Navy, and Marine Corps as well as other vehicles in UNSC colonies. AMG also makes numerous civilian vehicles, such as the Capri and the civilian model of the Warthog.

Created to protect the interests of all traders,mantaining a united credit system and unite the form of how trade is made.
Also,protects the rights of private research and reduce the amount of red tape.

The Dasrkstar military is centered around the concepts of stealth and speed, preferring outmaneuvering their enemies, hit-and-run attacks, guerrilla tactics and subterfuge.

The armoury of the Darkstar consists primarily of lightly armoured, fast vehicles with average firepower, which can outmaneuver and flank the opponent. Long-range weaponry is also prevalent, including the surface-to-surface missile launchers or long range artillery designed to deliver immense amounts of punishment to the opponent without exposing themselves.

In various ways, the Darkstar has always been technologically superioor in terms of civilian tech, an organization backed by and effectively operated on behalf of the traders and companys, and, more specifically, economically and technologically developed nations. It is not fully known how the Darkstar achieved such a state of unique technological superiority, though it is often linked to their access to and study of allegedly alien technology, and their monopoly on certain resources, which provided them with vast amounts of wealth, both financially and scientifically. The Darkstar has constructed, owned, and operated many state-of-the-art research institutes, and hired out research teams globally. Oftentimes, these institutes and related facilities were kept highly secret, and hidden from academia and especially from the galactic scientific comitee
