The SDI is a galactic peace keeping organization founded as a reaction to the United Commonwealth of Civilized Space. It aims to protect all the rights of each member state, and to protect it's member states from outside forces. The SDI relies heavily on its orbital shock troopers to secure planets, and it's fleets of cheap, adaptable frigates to control regions of space. These clauses are up for debate if a member state can sin majority and give good reason for the change.
Regulations
-Member states must have 1 superweapon prepared to be used by the SDI, crewed with at least a 50% SDI-forces crew.
-Member states must maintain a standing fleet in orbit over the SDI command at Lutlio III.
-Member states must release the catalyst codes for each of their bio-weapons or chemical weapons if they wish to continue their production.
-Member states may not join other galactic groups or spread classified information to them.
-Member states will be given and must give advances in technology to the SDI for spread to all member states.
-1/8 of each member state's military forces will be given to the SDI for mutual deployment to each member state.

NeoRome will keep it's super-weapons to itself, thanks. Also, the SDI is useless as the UCCS failed to take any hold. Oh well.

And we will ensure that the galaxy remains safe from gross misuse of superweapons.

NPNN: Following new legislation, Novum Paradigma has increased military budgets by 50%, most being directly funneled to the production and creation of superweapons. This will surely cause outrage in the Stellar Defense Initiative.

Due to legislation changes, NeoRome is declassifying and destroying the superweapon Radiology, which focused on delivering extremely harmful radioactive gasses to planets in order to make them completely uninhabitable. As of yet, the weapon pieces are being dropped into the nearest black hole.

Increases in superweapon production is not a problem to the SDI. Destruction of superweapons is neither encouraged or prohibited.

*in alternate universe*
Dovan Empire officials continue to find large pieces of some kind of alternate universe superweapon popping out of nowhere.

where did you think those black holes led to? didn't anyone ever tell you not to throw superweapons through black holes because it destabilize universes?
