Alternate Universes

I had an idea for Alternate universes a moment ago, and thought it might be good for the cannon roleplay:
There would be more than one universe occupying the same space, but not see able (watch fringe, THEN you will understand)
Pros:
Extra universes (makes some space)
could have uncursions
Some depth
Cons:
would require alot of moderation to prevent chaos
some people might not get it
Fish and Chips

STAY ON TEH TOPIC

Ahahahahahaha... No. Though the idea has merit, it doesn't fit with any continuity.
Timeline is here.
The pre-empires setting. According to non-established stuff I just made up, each empire originally came from one massive super-empire. This was achieved when they all achieved space faring capabilities around the same time, and some of the more intelligent and cooperative species made an overarching super-government. Each sector had another government, but still under the authority of the central council. The grounded series takes place during this (since crew is extremely varied). This ended after humans rebelled because they didn't like the authority. Other species saw flaws and withdrew, resulting in the pan-galactic war.
Roughly speaking, each faction exists for 1000 years or more at a rather stable state. Technology isn't discovered that much, borders relatively constant. There's the occasional war or such, but usually solved. This is the usually used era. Very stable save for wars and such, since technology is becoming too advanced and sophisticated, and approaching the upper limits of feasibility without miraculous breakthroughs in quantum physics and other theories. The Diplomatic RP takes place during this (Normal RP thingy, minus the crazy time distortion devices. Currently under construction as of now)
After this period is the destabilization period. The galaxy is thrown into a mingled state where everything becomes chaotic and disorderly, due to the Ionic storm isolating the governments. There are large bubbles where the storm isn't present, representing larger sectors, but generally everyone is on their own. Not too stable, and quantum mechanics is discovered and refined due to the anomalous properties of the storm. The Leonis series is during this.
Then the decay era. After the ionic storm passed trillions of years later, everything is dying. Stars burning out, planets stripped of metals as the ionic gasses closed in on them when the star died, everything dying. The few remnants of society fight or rebuild in this bleak world. The as-of-yet Decay series is during this.
And then there's your series. In a galaxy incredibly far away, you and your participants have uber-powerful empires capable of doing everything, where every other day you duke it out with capital ships for the fun of it. After all, it is so overpowered capital ships are statistically similar to bullets, frigates flies. The real damage is your system-sized battlestations, over an AU in diameter, housing so much stuff. It even has its own gravity field. Fun stuff, but not part of the other continuity.

not very relative, and half an insult at me.

About the "normal RP": You said it was "under construction".
Could you please elaborate and finish your Timeline and the transition to whatever-we-will-play on the "Original forum challenge"-thread?
Need it desperately for my faction page...

Patience, need backstory and stuff. And Alduin, is there something I missed in your RP thread, because that just about sums it up.

Ok, this is just ridiculous. What I summed up in your RP is what I gathered to be what was going on. I am not antagonizing you in any way. The poll option was meant as a joke, since I believe some of the options were a bit ridiculous. I was asking if I missed something, I added my own opinion to what was going on. I'm perfectly fine for your own continuity. I have nothing against it. But we need a place for those empires who are super powerful, too powerful for the normal RP thing (Like LJS industries, they could enslave us all with a scout force.)
If I did cause any harm, I'm sorry. I will let another moderator review this case and dish out points as they see fit.

LJSI wouldn´t enslave us with a scout force.
They would use a science ship.
Which they call a light cruiser.

I don't think LJS could inslave us if he tried, I mean you talking about a Giga Corporation that turned into an empire vs Everyone else on the FC forum do you honestly think he could win a battle like that?

Sheer numbers and healthy allocations of long range high explosive dimensionally scattering owl ordinance would probably stave smaller attacks away from Strigiforme space. After that, we can just use our super shields to protect our main systems.
