Captain(Revenent): Sir, shields are holding, but just barely. this ship is more powerful than what the scans showed.

Emperor Revan: *notes how powerful enemy ship is# Concentrate all fir on the forward laser banks!

Captain(Revenent): Sir, they are retreating!

Emperor Revan: no, they are just a scouting party to test us, i suspect that was not the last of them

OOC: and that's the beginning of this roleplay. ill come up with a name for this ancient droid faction later. for now, its up to all of you to come up with it somewhat

Darthon:
The DFS Migarrand slowly approached the target planet. It was supposed to be a quick mission, cut the colony's comms then annihilate them leaving no trace. It wouldn't have been hard with the largest of the fleet taking care of this, but they were still too many unknowns for certainties. They'd have to take the Feles bastards by surprise.

"Sir, we're approaching the planet!" called out the long range sensors ensign.
"Good, prepare the ships and send Delta Squad to take out their communications. We don't want them warning the rest of the TSFRM," Commander Andraeus calmly stated.
"Delta Squad ready for take off, on your word Commander," replied the ensign in charge of Battlegroup Trific, which included Delta Squad.
"Launch."
"Deploying Delta Squad, sir."
"Prepare the rest of the fleet, they'll figure out what's going on quickly after their comms are out. I want to hit 'em hard and fast."
"Very good, sir."
"You're damn right it is ensign."

Delta Squad approached the far side of the planet and began deploying infiltration forces, they'd insert themselves into the compound on foot and then take it out. There weren't enough to take out the whole colony, so they'd need to get back to the LZ before the orbital bombardment begins. The ground team would take out the comms then get out before the ships take out all the defenses and begin pounding the surface, purging it of the filthy vermin that hold it. Almost as quick as they'd got in, they were out and the defenses were going wild. The battle above Grangi IV was short lived as the Darthon forces quickly overwhelmed the TSFRM defenses with sheer number. The escorts hung around to protect the heavy cruisers that were sweeping the surface clean from any incoming foes. They had finished quickly too, which made sense for a small outer colony such as itself and the fleet returned to the large fleet ship and took off back to base for resupply. They were going on another mission soon, and had to be at full operational capacity.

Captain(Harvenger-IMSD): sensors read it to be unreconized, its probably some cobbled together pirate ship. Launch the fighters to scare it off

First Officer(Harvenger-IMSD): Yes Sir!

Hangar Officer(Harvenger-IMSD): Sir! they have launched three dozen (36) fighters of unknown origin sir!

Captain(Harvenger-IMSD): Who in Dov are these people!

Captain(RaptorFrigate1/3): They are launching unknown projectiles at our engines!! We cant---

Captain(Harvenger-IMSD): Call for backup!

First Officer(Harvenger-IMSD): they are jamming communications!

Captain(Harvenger-IMSD): Arrgh! destroy those fighters!

Yuvan(Harvenger-IMSD): detonate the engine's reactor to push us towards the enemy ship, then set thrusters at ramming speed.

Captain Nelson: What was it Lotharius?

Lotharius: It was odd. We lost contact with it at first then it came back online and confirmed a large burst of radiation. We lost contact with the probe after that.

Captain Nelson: This could be a Solar storm. Send a warp probe to confirm it. Also alert the SSS (Solar Storm Science team) and have them on stand by. I want them to depart the second we have confirmation of the Solar Storm. We can't miss this scientific opportunity.

Lotharius: yes, captain.

Nelson: I'll be in the communications room if you need me. I need to alert the Justinus Military academy of this. They will be eager to see the data.

TSRFM:
COMMUNICATION RECORD:
ADMIRAL ARK'SISH > MUNDUM NAVAL COMMAND, GOVERNMENT COUNCIL OF ELDER

'SISH: Sirs, I do not believe we have much time, I'll be quick.

IVAN TERASOV (COUNCIL): You may speak, admiral.

HASH'KER (MNC): Yes, 'Sish?

'SISH: One of our outer colonies, Grangi, has been attacked.

'KER (MNC): By?

'SISH: Unknown. Their numbers were vast and-

TERASOV (COUNCIL): An entire colony? Even the smallest should have enough to ward off a fleet.

'KER (MNC): Grangi is a mining colony, it's not very significant.

TERASOV (COUNCIL): Nonetheless, it's our duty to the-

'KER (MNC): Cut the bullshit. If you're looking to blame someone, blame yourselves. You're in control of funding to outer colonies.

TERASOV (COUNCIL): I will not be spoken to in su-

'SISH: Please, if we can discuss the matter at hand.

TERASOV (COUNCIL): Our apologies, admiral.

'KER (MNC): How was it attacked? And for that matter, how do you know it was an attack?

'SISH: Planetary comm systems went down, no interstellar traffic. A stealth prowler was in orbit around one of the planet's moons, got a fairly good view of the attack. As for your previous question, councilor, recent diplomatic relations with neighboring factions have been slightly... strained. Emplacement of a full defense fleet might have been misinterpreted.

TERASOV (COUNCIL): Understandable, though reckless. Did they have anything to do with this?

'SISH: The ship designs didn't match any galactic faction in our database, but I don not have enough information to draw a conclusion.

'KER (MNC): 'Sish, I'm giving you full control of the sector and access to the Feet.

'SISH: Thank you, ma'am.

'KER (MNC): You're dismissed, admiral. Are we done, councilor?

TERASOV (COUNCIL): Quite.

END COMMUNICATION

Darthon:
"Commander! Long range comm sensors picked up a TSFRM transmission!" called out an ensign
"Can you read what it says?" asked Commander Nekom
"No, but it appears to have military encryptions, sir."
"Word must've gotten to them about the attack."
"That is the likeliest possibility, sir."
"Postpone Operation G.R. another week, if we let up they might let their guard down, leaving them open for a full on assault on one of their larger planets. Stick to what we've been doing in the mean time."
"Yes sir," the ensign then switched over to the intercom leading to the CIC, "Operation G.R. has been postponed another week, continue shooting down probes, colony ships, stray ships, and small outposts and science stations."

If they didn't let up in a week, he wouldn't put it of another. He'd go ahead with the operation.

TSRFM:
"Sir, more reports from the outer spheres." Said the ensign as numbers poured over his screen.

"Put it on the projector." Ordered Ark'Sish.

A three dimensional image appeared on his command chair's display. He enlarged the image to get a better view. Several red dots became visible in a near-linear pattern.

"Burrowing into the territory of a major faction? That's suicide." Said a bridge officer.

"Mmh. Fortify these planets. Make sure shields are on full and the defensive fleet is ready." 'Sish said to the ensign on comm.

'Aye, sir."

Darthon:
BIC

"Everything seems to be going smoot- Planets are raising shields!" cried a doomed green shirt (my equivalent of a red shirt)
"Expand armor, I knew we should've scavenged that junk planet before melting it down to make these beasts..." the commander said, not knowing whether the superdense armor would be enough.
"Armor expanding, sir."
"Good, focus additional armor on the bow then launch another round of nukes behind us, take her up to ramming speed."
"Sir, you're not thinking..."
"Yes I am. We're going to ram the planet."
"But-but that's practically suicide!"
"Not if we're in and Onesty, it isn't. Evacuate all personnel to the Femur and launch the rest of the fleet."
"Yes sir."

TSRFM:
Admiral Sish's destroyer made the jump to normal space and quickly began running through its stealth procedure. Engines were running cold and the jump radiation was masked by a large moon. Just an echo in an echo. The ship moved from the moon's shadow in order to get a better viewpoint. The enemy, now known to be Darthon, was beginning their attack, advancing toward the planet. A handful of evacuated defense platforms opened fire and were soon slagged by the assault fleet. Defensive ships retreated to a farther orbit, just as ordered. To the attackers, it seemed as though they had won.

to get into the roleplay, all you require is a post in roleplay thread (on either forums) for your faction, and a location you wish your faction to be located at, or i can choose a location

"I don't like it, that defense fleet could easily take us out. If they seriously think they can't take us because we absolutely took their orbital defenses down, they'd be wrong. They evacuated them leaving nothing to shoot us with. Those could've easily taken out half the fleet. Slow the approach and cancel that ram, remain cautious though, I don't know what they have up their sleeve."

The admiral waited for the assault fleet's next move. 'Sish was a trapper, the fleet a beast. Will it take the bait or turn and leave? Or will the trapper spare it the choice? Half of the defense fleet was dark, waiting for the time to strike, the rest was retreating. Most of the orbital defense network was operational, but would take time to heat up.

"Order all units to hold fire and stay dark." Said the admiral to the ensign at communications.

"Aye, sir."

"Sir, we got a faint trace of a TSRFM communication to all the detected ships and... what appears to be empty space?!" The green shirt seemed confused by what was happening, and the fact the commander seemed worried and confused as well troubled him.
"Pull back all ships to safe distances. Then I want that planet's orbital distance cleared of all stations and debris. I don't want to have missed anything."
"Delta Weapons still warming up sir, they'll take about a minute finish."
"Good. And the fleet?"
"Pulling back as ordered."
"Good, good."
A minute of silence passed as they waited for the Delta Weapons to finish charging. All fleetships are equipped with one, but the Command Ship had the largest. Delta Weapons are massive beam weapons whose only range limitation is the time it takes to reach the target, which isn't long at most practical distances since it's just super lasers.
"Delta Weapons primed and ready to fire sir, waiting on your command."
"... Fire."
"Firing Delta Weapons sir."
The Delta Weapons fired massive beams of cyan blue light, vaporizing the orbiting installations and satellites.
"Move in Fleetships 1 and 3. I want to see what they do."
"Giving the command, sir."

OOC: No one knows that Darthon is a front company for DRIthon, so they wouldn't be recognized as Darthon ships because they aren't. They're DRIthon, which is not recognized as anything by anyone. Except Darthon. Who are pretty much DRIthon. But no one knows that. So you'd have to make up a name for them yourself because they don't match anything still.

"Enemy ships opening fire, sir." A captain informed 'Sish.

"A shame, I was hoping to avoid a battle. Order all ships to engage. I want platforms online ASAP." Answered the admiral.

"Order sent, sir."

"Send reports to my station."

Data scrolled across the command chair's holodisplay. Accelerators and Ion Cannons were charging, a fifth of the available emplacements were permanently out of commission. The two defensive fleets turned their attention to the enemy fleet. Streaks of fire became visible on optical sensors. Some volleys from closer to the planet, others from higher, all hurtling toward the center of the loose formation. 'Sish ordered all ships and ODPs to target one of the larger ships that wielded the monstrous beam weapons. Concentration of fire shifted to one point. The ODPs finished their charge. Brighter streaks slashed across the starry background, ion cannons releasing their energized load toward the ship. Hyperaccelerated slugs of near-molten metal followed the energy bolts, much dimmer against void.

The ship's shield failed. A puff of nuclear fire erupted from within the ship.
The ship explodes under the fire because it doesn't have any shields.

OOC: Which fleetship did you kill? There's 10 plus the Command Ship, they all have 1 Delta Weapon, the Command Ship's is the biggest though. And plus I don't use shields on any of my ships except Onesty-Class Light Cruisers. And it wouldn't be a puff, it'd be a massive blast wiping out the 3 fleets worth of escorts surrounding it and badly damage half the fleetships. I don't use shields because my armor can stand most anything, except explosive kinetic weaponry. That's like, the cryptonite of my ships.

Computer: all front decks are gone, 82% of weapons are terminated, and crew of all patrol ships are dead

Computer: no, but Captain's cryo room is

Yuvan: open the access hatch to it

Yuvan: Computer, turn on Dovan distress signal and if possible, send a message asking for help and warning the fleet

Yuvan: once i get into the cryo pod, turn off all systems except you and the cryo pod

A small Technotronic scouting ship was patrolling an area near Yun, when they saw some strange ships in the distance.
Crew 1: "What in the name of the gods are those things?"
Crew 2: "No idea, but they look pretty old somehow."

The third crew member, who recently woke up, enters the cockpit.
Crew 3: "Mornin' guys, what's up?"
Crew 2: "Look over there."
Crew 3: "The f**k is those things?"
Crew 1: "Seems to be ancient ships."
Crew 3: "I'll make a scan, take us closer."

One of the crew members takes the ship closer, and the third starts scanning the ships for life.
Crew 3: "Nothing."
Crew 1: "What, are you saying these are droid ships or something?"
Crew 3: "Pretty much."

A cannon on one of the ships turns towards them and starts shooting.
Crew 1: "Holy sh**!!"
The scouting ship turns around, flying towards Yun as fast as possible. The droid ships chase it.
