Testing done on recovered biological specimens from SR388, they are very parasitic, and will attempt to feed on anything that moves, but they are unable to drain any energy from us. We have also discovered that they can be induced to evolve, some into very large and powerful organisms, although they are easily frozen. We have also discovered that these are not natural, they were engineered, and can be easily cloned. Some of the larger evolutions have strength to rival that of a Lamentor, and could be a cheap, mass producible alternative, perhaps we can use mechanical implants to enhance their capabilities, and reduce their weakness, also, it looks like we might be able to put implants in there brains which would allow us to control them better.

I have reviewed your results, Prototype. We also recovered logs from the prior natives inhabiting the planet. It says the energy they extract takes no physical form, and they call it 'life' energy. As such, they would not be able to harm us. Such creatures could be exceptionally valuable in our armies. Your findings are valid. I am authorizing immediate disciplining and weaponization of these creatures.

Negative, Error. SRS2222-24 has previously supplied us defective or malfunctioning material. They may keep jurisdiction, but we will supervise and control all production plants in the system. War materials denied.
