Got an alternative battle theme suggestion (I seriously thought that would be ridley's theme before I actually played it)
If not I'm claiming this as my own theme, if not I'll use this as my theme

May I join the robotic coalition?
If I'm getting accepted, these are my ideas for the battle theme:

Re: The Robotic Coalition
Alt battle theme, if you're interested...
Or, if we're going more conventional...
System conquests are underway. Systems designate SRS2215, SRS2216, and SRS2218 are under Coalition control. SRS2217 is resisting pacification efforts.

Re: The Robotic Coalition
Julo, if we use any mega man theme, we are using this one:
I quite like this one, an epic cover of probably the best mega man track ever, plus it is also relevant as megaman=robot/reploid
Also I have some robot avatars like my own that I can lend to people.

Re: The Robotic Coalition
Excellent.
The Ground Control 2 accepted as Anthem. And each fleet has it's corresponding battle theme, whatever that may be.
I have launched invasion fleet MCHM-3991, to systems designated SR385, SR386, and SR387. SR388 has been destroyed by SSM-54-D Antimatter Thermonuclear missile bombardment, due to incredibly intense resistance and possession of an AI core rivaling our own.

Oooh Brentalfloss as Battle theme?
But anyway, I'm starting an official request to join the robotic coalition.

Re: The Robotic Coalition
You destroyed SR388? We could have uses some of the life forms there as weapons, there were better ways to take out their AI core, for example sending in a heaviy armed individual... No wait, that's been done.
Oh well...

Encrypted Transmission, Fleet Command Vessel Archangel to Robotic Coalition Command
.....Transmission Start.....
E.X.I.L.E. Project Alpha reports success. [CLASSIFIED] Units deploying to system SRS2219 to pacify. System SRS2217 surrendered, offered robotic production facilities. Awaiting response from High Command.
WARNING: System designate SRS2220 is resisting pacification with electromagnetic pulse weapons. Send armored fighting units only.

Re: The Robotic Coalition
The creatures present on SR388 are potentially useful, yes. However, they are incredibly dangerous to use, due to their parasitic energy tendencies. The main population has been destroyed, but we have kept a obtained a sizable number for experimentation. I am handing research over to Prototype.
In addition, defense against EMP weaponry has been progressing. We can shield most units effectively from the blasts with photon shielding, but we cannot miniaturize it enough to make it mechanically viable. I have dispatched a fleet, coded as GR-8785 with this plating. It should adequately protect from the weapon's effects.
In other news, SR389 has willingly surrendered after the destruction of its neighbor system, SR388. Due to their surrender, we are going to leave jurisdiction of the system to them while we conduct our matters there, such as experimentation and mining. This comes at a fee, however. Should they fail to pay it, we shall take over.

Re: The Robotic Coalition
A suggestion for defence against EMP is to use heavily modified organic neural systems, for these will not be affected by the EMP, and could be calibrated to restart mechanical components in the wake of an EMP shock wave.

Re: The Robotic Coalition
This is, unfortunately, not a viable option. EXILE battlefleets have removed the shielding from the nuclear fusion reactors, deterring organic boarders, but limiting ourselves to mechanical and electronic components only.Prototype wrote:A suggestion for defence against EMP is to use heavily modified organic neural systems, for these will not be affected by the EMP, and could be calibrated to restart mechanical components in the wake of an EMP shock wave.

Re: The Robotic Coalition
Removing the shielding from the reactors is not a good idea. It has been shown that prolonged radiation exposure can fry electronics eventually. It takes a long time, but it is recommended to place shielding around electronics.
Consequently, this also solves the EMP problem. Why didn't we think of that? Use radiation shielding for the same problem. Several cargo ships with this are en route now.
