Why scrap your old company/faction when you could have just as easily made a new topic and keep both of them?

Because it was inferior. The very same reason I've scrapped all previous factions.

NPNN: Following new legislation, Novum Paradigma has banned the use of food replicators by citizens and restricted use to food companies and the military.

NeoRoman military forces have blockaded key Novum systems after a convoy carrying food replicators out of the system was intercepted and destroyed by a Novum fleet.

((For future reference, Novum Space is one, large blob of systems, space stations, and other things to keep space to a maximum.))

NPNN: Novum military officials are denying claims on an attack on a food replicator convoy, going so far as to say that the convoy never even existed. As a result, we have been blockaded by NeoRoman forces. This tactic however, will most likely prove pointless due to our single territory boundary and lack of reliance on non-Novum forces. Although, this will likely postpone the ordering and delivery of much needed reactors.

In that case, N-Scale Fusion Reactors cannot be sold to Novum authorities. Blockade lifted.
