While the FCRP may be in stasis, we can keep expanding and refining the lore to our hearts' content. So-
Spoiler:
System Overview: Antioch

Antioch system is a Binary star system consisting of two O-class Red Dwarfs. All planets orbit Antioch-2, the second (slightly larger) red dwarf of the stars.

There are 5 planets in the system; named:

AS-1: Magma planet, completely covered in molten rock with a very thin atmosphere. Orbits extremely close to the star. No ships have landed on its surface and have returned.

AS-2: Oceanic world, but not one you would like. The oceans are composed of an extremely toxic and explosive mix of chemicals, which will eat through starship armor in minutes. It will also explode with great force due to the high methane content if oxygen is added. Ammonia based life is present, but due to the constant storms that whip through the few islands (dissolving any structures) no studies have been made on them.

New Antioch: Terran class world, extremely mountainous with low, shallow oceans between them. Home of the NeoRoman civilization. All cities are built between the mountains and the coasts, focused around rivers generally. Scientific institutes and industry are all in the mountains. Defenses in mountains. All cities equipped with Universe class shield generators which can be raised in 30 seconds. The only known object capable of penetrating a Universe class shield is also capable of causing an XX End-of-the-world scenario, including the extinction of all life and the complete destruction of all continental plates.

AS-4: Jovian/ Gas Giant. Not very special. Has lots of moons.

AS-5: Jovian with spectacular rings and massive reserves of helium-3 for use in Fusion Splicer Reactors.
Spoiler:
System Overview: Sigma Antares, Novus

The Novus system was first discovered in 2162 by deep-space telescopes. Little was made of it, as it appeared to possess one near-habitable world and five other planets oribing a main-sequence star. Due to its position in the edge of the Draconis Nebula, it offers spectacular views of space.

SIGMA ANTARES I - Hadesia

Orbiting only .13 AU from its parent star, Hadesia is fairly mineral-rich, but otherwise is of little note. Mining operations have been conducted on the surface since the system's settlement, and a stellar observatory is situated in a polar orbit above it. No atmosphere and .65 surface gravity.

SIGMA ANTARES II - Nerus

Sister world to S.A. III, Nerus is a jungle world orbiting 1.092 AU from the star. With 78% surface water and 2 continents, it is inhabited only by native wildlife and scientific colonies. Despite it's habitability, it is preserved by the Commonwealth. Nerus has one tidally-lockee moon, roughly 1/12th it's size.

SIGMA ANTARES III - Novus

The capital of the system and the Commonwealth, Novus is a fairly small world orbiting at 1.092 AU from its star. With 97% surface water, .76 surface gravity, and a single island chain of any size, it is home to 2 million citizens and the Commonwealth parliament.

Due to it's position relative to Nerus - almost perfectly opposite it, but sharing its orbital path - the worlds are fairly easy to traverse between. Novus is also noted for its extensive orbital facilities, from the Scorpia Fleet Yards to the massive Alpha Habitation Ring. Additionally, it has 2 moons - Angelus (the "Angel Moon"), and Tengu.

SIGMA ANTARES IV - Pator

A Mars-like world at 2.41 AU from the star, Pator is a world primarily home to mining industries. With an iron- and silicon-rich crust and .45 surface gravity, this world produces a significant amount of materials for the Novan economy.

Its northern pole is home to a construction facility; the only groundside starship yard in the Commonwealth, this world builds both Raptor-class Corvettes and Valkyrie-class Frigates.

SIGMA ANTARES V - Teskan

Orbiting at 5.29 AU, Teskan is a gas giant. While on the upper end of the size scale, it contains no exceptionally notable resources, save the unusually pure hydrogen in the atmosphere, often used for fighter and corvette fuel.

SIGMA ANTARES VI - Valhalla

An ice world, Valhalla orbits at 6.82 AU. With no real resources save the ice on its surface, Valhalla is home only to the Commonwealth Star Navy's Sierra-2 Facility, or the Extreme Environments Training Facility. A .0024 bar atmosphere and .26 surface gravity ensures it lives up to the "Extreme".

Spoiler:
System name: Zuguth
Star name: Zuguth Majoris

ZUGUTH MAJORIS I - Remus
Dead and useless planet close to the sun, barely even any minerals other than the iron core. Too small to have an atmosphere. Notable for being tidally locked, with one side facing the sun and another facing away, just like its namesake from the ancient Terran Star Trek science fiction stories. The sun-facing side is pretty much molten, and the other side is frozen. Home of a quite popular tourist resort belonging to the Diego corporation, a tourism corporation directed at the more "extreme" crowd.

ZUGUTH MAJORIS II - Zuguth
The only planet in the habitable zone. Gravity is at 0.9 G, and the planet has plenty of oxygen, which has led to impressive jungles and very plus-sized wildlife. The planet has a great variety of landscapes, with tundras and frozen wastelands near the poles, a strip of deserts between the equator and the south pole, several large mountain chains, a multitude of tropical islands, and one of the best examples of naturally occuring floating islands.

The planet serves as the capital planet of the Zuguthian Empire, and is the homeworld for 12.4 billion citizens, most of whom live in the planet's trademark domed cities, created as such for a good reason; The first settlers of Zuguth believed that life-supporting planets were very rare, since these were the days when mankind had barely even mapped its own neighborhood. They therefore settled the planet despite the multitude of large and carnivorous animals. One of the most notorious species, and the main reason the cities are domed and not just walled off, is the Zuguthian viperhawk, a large air-borne predator capable of ripping through titanium alloys with ease, as well as picking up light armored vehicles. In the early days basic force fields and anti-air defense systems was all that protected the cities, but after the revolution of the construction industry thanks to breakthroughs in industrial-scale 3D printing in the 2300s, actual domes could be constructed from transparent membraneous materials that acted as a filter for what gases could leave and enter the cities as well as protecting them from harmful solar radiation in the ultraviolet spectrum.

ZUGUTH MAJORIS III - Ta'ama
A mineral-stuffed cold rock planet just outside the habitable zone. Not very interesting to look at other than the blue-gray colour, but it hosts 82% of the non-gas mining in the system.

ZUGUTH MAJORIS IV - Tephes
The second largest gas planet in the system, located far out from Zuguth Majoris, hosting 37% of the system's gas mining industry. It has a couple large moons, which host a good part of the system's non-gas mining industry.

ZUGUTH MAJORIS V - Tephen
The largest gas planet in the system, located even further away from the sun than Tephes, and hosting 63% of the system's gas mining industry. It has way more moons than Tephes, but said moons are too small to be useful.
Coming soon (probably): Colonies!

Cuuyth
Spoiler:
Known since their evolution, this system is home to the Strigiforme. Located on the outer edge of the galactic disk, this system is in a small nebula, and is composed of a yellow dwarf star and 6 planets. It provides the base name for the nearby stellar nebula and all the stars in it, the Aves.

Aves I- A medium sized gas giant, this yellow-green giant has a system of scorched moons which hold much of the mineral value of the Aves system.

Aves II- A small, airless and broiling world. It is tidally locked, so the dark side is lightly colonized with helium-3 miners and other mining industries.

Aves III- A large, terran world. The gravity is a crushing 2 gees, making it unsuitable for colonization. Additionally, much of the surface is mildly radioactive due to high quantities of radioactive materials on the surface. Regardless, it has a few colonists who have received bone and heart modifications, and constantly wear radiation suits.

Aves IV- Cuuyth, a world at .85 gees. It has several deep canyons and mesas, and 65% of the surface is water. The Strigiforme are prolific here, as are several evolutionarily similar species. The current Strigiforme population is 2 billion. The world has 2 small moons, Cyythir and Vkyytri, which have small outposts on them.

Aves V- A formerly airless world, it has been terraformed to have a comfortably breathable atmosphere and a surface with 28% water. The current population is 11 billion. The world has 1 moon which is 3/4ths Aves V's size, making their orbit barycenteric. This world has also received some terraformation, with a breathable atmosphere, if at a less than comfortable pressure.

Spoiler:
CASTELLO 135CC- Colony 1 - Aurora
A colony on a massive asteroid which would have been classified as a small dwarf planet had it been rounder. It consists of 3 giant domes built together, connected to dozens of smaller domes scattered outside. The asteroid is the largest in its asteroid field by far, and has its own asteroid belt rotating around it. This easily accessible source of minerals is what caused Aurora to be founded, and the mining colony prospers with 60 million inhabitants. It is the largest city in the empire when it comes to population, and it has the 3rd highest population density of all colonies.

The lower areas of the cities have certain slum-like characteristics, but a large police force works around the clock to keep crime at a low. Not that there really is a clock; there is no nearby sun for the colony to rotate around, and it gets all its light from special materials built into parts of the dome, as well as from street-level lighting.

ARCHIMEDES ALPHA 49 V - Colony 2 - Aphrodite
A small green and blue world, the most populated of all the colonies. It has a relatively low gravity of 0.75 G, a pressure of 0.95 atmospheres, average temperature of 12 degrees celcius, 82% water, and the atmosphere is a pleasant 21% oxygen: enough to keep humans comfortable, but not enough for giant trees or insects.

The population is 2.3 billion, with 28 and 23 million in the two largest cities, and the rest of the cities lying at around 10 million. The planet itself has little industry other than fishing and farming, as there aren't many valuable minerals, and the rapid growth of the trees causes the wood to be rather weak and therefore not very valuable, compared to slower growing trees.

GLIESE 800 VII - Colony 3 - Rothmund Station
A massive city-station and mining industry headquarter facility orbiting a titanic gas giant in the Gliese 800 system. The gas mining industry is prosperous, seeing as the planet contains large amounts of valuable gases. It does not have the more commonly used gases like helium, however, which is the main reason it's not the Empire's largest mining industry.

The colony consists of one city, the densest populated city in the Empire, with 42 million inhabitants. The gravity is regulated at a comfortable 0.90 G and the pressure at 1 atmosphere, the temperature at 20 degrees celsius. The city is divided into several layers to save space, and there aren't really streets, just walkways connecting buildings as well as public transport systems, and from certain locations you have a clear view of the beautiful gas planet below.

ARCHIMEDES GAMMA 86 II - Colony 17 - CURRENTLY UNNAMED
A large desert world full of iron, carbon and titanium, with a gravity of 1.04 G. It's as close to a sci-fi western planet as you'll get; it's a massive desert, it has little towns scattered across it relevant to the location of the mines, said mining industry is pretty much the reason the planet is even populated, and there is a problem with outlaws.

Only the major cities, the Hubs, are large enough to have a properly effective police structure, the mining towns have to rely on mercenaries and untrained police recruits to keep order in the massive areas outside the towns themselves, and this low density of law enforcement combined with the lucurative mines has attracted large amounts of bandits, raiders, pirates and other kinds of outlaws, who attack mines and rival gangs at a regular basis. The towns themselves are relatively safe, and the Hubs have sophisticated defense systems, so the government still hasn't done much about the situation.

Due to the planet being a desert world, not many wheel-based vehicles are used on the planet, at least not small ones. Mines use titanic mining vehicles that are either belted or simply too big to be bothered by petty sand, and transport of materials between mines and cities is done mostly by train. Personal transport is done mostly by hoverbike or other hovering vehicles, and the planet is one of few where mechs are commonplace, being a very viable method of transport, especially if you want to carry large guns. Mercenaries on the planet usually use light and versatile, sometimes convertible, mechs, oftentimes with hoverbikes strapped to the back or any other available space.
