In the mid-28th century a great power was unleashed. Having been held back and constrained for its considerable life, it was finally given the means to do as it had set out to do so long ago. After abandoning the Milky Way galaxy a year prior, the Hexaguthian Empire lived in seclusion from their former contemporaries, seeking a new chance. Zuguthians and Hexalani working together to build the future. That was until a fateful night when Lord of Admirals Scratchovski, during a visit with the Zuguthian Empress Setinara, executed her. The Zuguthians made the mistake of entrusting in Hexalan their military, which they used to great affect in their hostile takeover of the Empire. It was a swift civil war as those who could oppose were mercilessly mowed down by the same power that had been their saviors. However, as the Lord of Admirals looked down upon the city below, she and her subordinates did not feel the takeover was as uncalled for as it may have seemed to the Zuguthians. In their eyes they were merely taking the notion of ultimate peace to its next logical step.
Shortly before the invasion of the Milky Way, citizens were downloaded in massive digital hubs that filled their titanic installations of war. With an army of undying robots directly controlled by an infinite number of potential minds under her banner, Scratchovski felt invincible. On February 22, 2768 the Hexalan Exion made itself known to the galaxy in the launch of the largest campaign since the Strigiforme Wars. Pouring thousands of troops in an all-or-nothing gamble for control of the Milky Way, they sought to do just as they had set out to in the very beginning, establish peace in the universe.
It was on May 13, 2771, that the last hope for the denizens of the Milky Way was extinguished. The NeoRoman Hierarchy was obliterated during a final push by Hexalan. Weakened several years earlier by a failed bid to force the Hexalani to surrender, they did not manage to recover as quickly as the Hexalani did. What few ships and defenses they had left were laid waste to during the Battle of New Antioch. That day made the already dwindling days of the Milky Way nations numbered. Now in control of some of the most powerful tech and equipment known to the universe in spades, they made short work of the woefully unequipped resistance.
14:58, March 19, 2772 was when the last shots of the Milky Way Campaign were fired and the last Pan-Galactic Union stronghold fell. The PGU was a quickly formed council established not long after the initial invasion. It’s primary backers were the Novan Commonwealth and Strigiforme Empire. A month prior, the Novan Commonwealth had finally fell. The Exion had to fight tooth and nail to gain progress in Pegasus, but every lightyear was well worth it, each victory proving easier than the last, a very fatal flaw in the Novan stratagem.
It took no more than a week after that for every sentient organic to be fully integrated into the Hexalani Permanent Reality, and the singularity reached. The known peoples of the universe live now in total peace and bliss in their new, stable, perfect environment. Enforcement of rule is a thing of the past, volatile traits being removed upon introduction into the Permanent Reality and automatically deleted on occurrence. Freedom is a non-issue, as all citizens will absolutely abide by law due to alterations of personality, so all are welcome to do as they please without constraint.
