Re: Titanium Jacket
"Lazarus is... unique." Devon paced for a second. "No combat ability, if you're asking. He-" Devon was interrupted by an urgent beeping on the console. He whipped around and turned towards it. "Shit. Something's happened to the fusion reactor in Sector G. The whole station's going to lose power if the unit goes offline. And without power, you might as well say goodbye." He turned towards the door; beyond it, the shielded blast door still held up. "Lazarus will relay anything you need to know, though he doesn't speak much. Sector G is down the hallway, towards the fore of the station."

Re: Titanium Jacket
'How many personnel left on the station? And how can we evacuate them?' Karl asks, eyeing Devon and the security systems. 'If push comes to shove, odds are we'll need to execute a Golf Tango Foxtrot Oscar, and blow the place on the way out.'
(Also, scan the monitors for anything of particular note.)

"Information you can give us on the layout of the reactor, or chamber G in general? Transfer to helmet maps of squad. Also, any information on what horrors you cooked up there; as few surprises as possible. We, frankly, didn't expect survivors here. Try to stay here, will have 5-8-2 tap sequence to signal is us. Good luck."

Re: Titanium Jacket
"There are pockets of survivors around the station," Devon said. Perception roll 73. You notice what appears to be a maintenance report, dated one week before the station went dark. Discovered multiple points of entry not in ventilation schematics. Points of entry appear to move through the superstructure itself; exploration not advised. "We have four hangers. One and two are wrecked- I think you know why. Most of them have ships, though I don't have camera access." You look at each other before he continues.
"Sector G is circular and centered around the reactor, split into four sections of equal size. I'll transfer the schematics to a holo-pad." He typed in a few commands before folding up one of the holo-pads on the security desk. He hands it over before continuing. "And, unfortunately, I had no access to some of the more classified experiments. Lazarus was the lowest level. Resurrection. But it is untested. As for the other experiments, I only have rumors." He paused for a second. The console behind him began beeping again.
"Project Gravity was a gravitational weapon. Project Doctrine, I believe, was an experiment into mind control. Project Firefly..." he paused. "Swarms. And Project Lexicon had something to do with super-intelligence. That's all I know." He turned to the console behind him. "You need to go. The reactor won't last long, and nobody's going to live without power."

Re: Titanium Jacket
MOVING ON
The team makes their way through the hallway towards the sector. You encounter nothing of note; all the doors except the one leading to sector G are locked, and cannot be opened. And it seems Tantibus has vanished; his signature is gone.
You reach the end door and pause. It's locked too. After a moment, Devon speaks-through Lazarus. "Passcode Echo Charlie Hotel Oscar Three One Three," he says. The collar's light turned green as he spoke; it reverted back to yellow. Kyle enters the code into the computer next to the door and the door begins to slide open, not silently. Immediately beyond the door is a security station; three corpses lie against the consoles against one wall. Multiple spines are sticking out of their bodies. Their discarded weapons lie beside them, smoking and half-melted by some sort of green liquid.
The collar on Vinebane turns green. "Sector G worked with Project Firefly," Devon said. You approach the consoles; they're all locked, but one of them does have a report on it. Class XK Containment Breach in: Zero Chamber, Hive Chamber, Impact Core, Prime Chamber, Gravity Chamber, Pyro Chamber, Phase Chamber. Evacuate sector immediately. "Firefly coded for bio-weapons. Genetic engineering." A pause. "The path forks left and right. The entrance to the reactor chamber is opposite from your location. Both paths lead to the same point, but I don't know what's on the paths."

'Question.' Karl says, sweeping both halls through the marksman's scope. 'Is it possible to locate the other survivors? Via internal comms, scans, anything? That would allow us to dump the rest of the place to vacuum and hopefully give us a clearer shot at getting things done.'
(Again, scan security consoles for anything of note.)

"I don't believe a vacuum will work," Devon replies. "Most of the creatures are likely designed to be able to survive a vacuum for an extended period of time. Plus, depressurizing the entire station would remove what little containment we do have." A pause. "Thermal signatures are probably your best bet for locating both hostiles and friendlies. I assume you have them?"
Perception roll 20. You notice nothing of interest.

Re: Titanium Jacket
'Helmet thermal cams hardly work through a dreadnought's bulkheads. And if venting isn't an option, then we should find an armoury.'
Flipping off his mic and muttering to Ytiil, 'What I wouldn't give for a rocket launcher,' he slowly moves for a better look down the left hall.
'Who the bloody hell designed this place? Were they drunk?'

Spoiler:
Vena cautiously makes her way through the area; there's something about the scene that fills her with anxiety. Maybe it's the mangled corpses. Or the uncomfortable color of the walls. Probably the latter, since Vena quickly propels herself toward the former to study the spines, still-smoking weapons, and liquid. She checks the seals on her bug-eyed helmet and casts a quick telepathic pulse to confirm the absence of potential enemies while crouching over the bodies.

Rolling for perception... 65
Something moves in the darkness and you raise your weapon. It begins to approach, and the light begins to illuminate the things. Three purple creatures, hopping along on four spiked legs. There are numerous crystal-like growths on their backs, seemingly catching and reflecting the light. Their front legs are quite obviously bloody-they don't look too friendly.

You kneel by the bodies and pull out one of the spines, which comes out surprisingly easy. It's made of a very dense bone, and the tip appears galvanized; it could probably pierce most alloys. The liquid seems a bit more interesting, and Ricco rolls over and conducts a brief analysis. After a few clicks, he announces results. "Substance highly acidic. Moderate quantities of an unknown bio-mutagen detected within liquid. Bio-mutagen appears to be living, though concentrated sample is necessary for definitive analysis." And your psionic ping returns... psionic roll 31.
The ping reveals multiple... things headed down the hallway, towards you, where Karl is looking out of. You can't identify them, but they're definitely hostile. Their thoughts betray them.

Karl takes aim at the nearest creature - specifically, the growths on its back - and fires a double-tap, before moving back towards cover and tripping his microphone. 'Everybody get down. Unknowns down the hall!'
Getting into cover himself, he paused. 'Anyone have grenades to hand?'
