Subject: NC/CSN/SS/CV - Hades-class Carrier
Overview: Basic description of Novan CV-H Carrier
Details: The Hades-class carrier is a Novan design originating from a Terran-built transport. Intended as a fleet support ship, the CV-H has notably less fighter capacity than most carrier of a similar size; it exchanges this instead for a manufacturing facility (enqbling the production of everything from ammunition to combat drones) and a frigate-size refit and repair facility.
The ship is five hundred twelve meters in length, one hundred eighty meters in width, and sixty-four meters in height. It is powered by an FM-C1 fusion reactor and propelled by five C-6 Fusion-Thermal drives. It mounts one primary Warp Drive Array and one auxiliary Warp Drive Array.
Standard load includes four squadrons (12 x 4 // 48) of fighters, and six squadrons of drones. The vessel itself mounts only point-defense weapons, but one experimental variant mounts two twin-turreted 150mm railgun for anti-ship duty. While very lightly armoured, the carrier is very maneuverable and fast for its size.
The vessel carries a crew of 40, with space for up to 260 pilots and fighter-crew personnel. On extended missions, a crew module may be installed on the aft hull, allowing up to 400 crew. Extended missions also regularly carry 4 Work Modules, corvette-size repair, construction, and resource-mining craft.
There are currently two active and one incomplete vessel/s in the class. Hades, Harrier, and Shiva's Wrath.

Subject: Novan Commonwealth
Overview: Terran-originated nation in the Draconis March
Details: The Novan Commonwealth is a small nation on the outer edges of the galaxy. With two colonized worlds (Novus and Hahnsak) and just over 540,000 population, it is overshadowed by just about everyone.
The Novans are peaceful, open people who left the Terran Sphere to 'Escape this madness', likely referring to the Strigiforme-Terran War and the Terran Splintering. Their original colony fleet has been partly dismantled for use groundside, partly refitted as civilian vessels, and several rebuilt for military use.
Notably, the Novans recently discovered the Great Derelict - the remains of a massive ringworld, destroyed via unknown means. A permanent base/shipyard/research site is under construction there. The Derelict is located in the Beta Ceti system, termed 'Tanis'.
Despite their small size, the Commonwealth has already made notable strides in science and exploration. Given their isolation, contact with any other nation is intermittent and via hyperpulse relay.
Overview: A partially isolationist socialist military state owned by the Hexalan Corporation, its capital is located on Pleth (IV) in the Pleth System.
Details: Founded by the Hexalan Corporation in 2112, the Hexalan Exion (henceforth referred to as 'Hexalan') has been very prosperous since then, settling several colonies around the Pleth System, achieving a manufacturing contract with Neo-Antioch, and being generally well off.
As of the settling of the most recent colony, Hexalan has a population of roughly 1.5 billion spread through its 9 planets, a majority of which reside on the capital, Pleth.

Subject: Hogous-class Battlecruiser
Overview: A brief look at the Hexalani space navy’s largest ship.
Details: Recently added to the ranks, these are pure warships, designed to directly combat other vessels. Hexalan justifies their construction by claims of defense against potential threats, such as the Terran Union.
They are large vessels, roughly 600 meters in length and 120 in breadth. Armed with the latest in ballistics weaponry and coated in the finest samples of armor, it is understandable why there is currently only a single Hogous in service, the HXESV Apocrypha.

Subject: Idris-class Heavy Destroyer
Overview: The heavy hitters of Hexalan.
Details: The meat of the combat fleets mainly comes from Idrises, moderately sized warships.

Subject: MkII IPBA
Overview: Standard issue protective armor of the Hexalani military.
Details: The Mark 2 Infantry Protective Body Armor is made up of interlocking ceramium plates. The helmet and torso areas are reinforced to prevent critical hits from immediately neutralizing a user. The helmet also features the use of multiple external cameras projecting to an interior display. It effectively allows the user to survive several hits from most small arms. The suit is also rated for unassisted air drops and short spans in vacuum, also featuring basic environmental control.

Subject: Macaian Empire
Overview: The Macaian Empire is a small, but fast-growing spacefaring civilization with a dictatorship government.
Details: The Macaian Empire has only gained access to FTL technology less than a year ago, but the large ammount of space traffic already present in interplanetary scale in their home system has allowed them to make the switch to interstellar travel quickly and expand rapidly. As of now, four different systems have their own defense fleets assigned, the largest located in the Macai-Valia-system, where the Macaian capital of Macai is located.
In strong contrast to Human nations, where none would openly identify themselves as a dictatorship, the ME actually does so. This is possible because of the population being granted a large variety of rights, including the freedom of speech as well as extensive social services, resulting in an overall positive opinion of the government throughout the population, which also doubles as security against rebellions, since rebels are reliant on support from the people.

Subject: Macaian dual system names.
Overfiew: The ME gives each colonized system two names, a political and an astronomical one.
Details: Macaians have long theorized about interstellar travel, and the government has adopted a few systems on that before actually travelling the stars. One of these customs is the dual system names, the astronomical name is that fo the star, while the political name would be the name of the most relevant celestial body. To avoid confusion, information given to other factions by the ME usually has both names listed together, with the political name given before the astronomical name, seperated by a hyphen. In cases where the most relevant celestial body is the star or the most relevant body is named after the star (e.g. the Hexalan capital Pleth (IV) ), the political and astronomical name are identical, as well as the complete name, as giving both is unneccessary if they are identical.
