It is the early 24th century (2314, to be exact), you are one of several explorers of a rather new faction, the Novan Commonwealth.

You've heard tell of wild stories of an as of yet unidentified race residing in the galactic Northwest. In search of the fame the discovery will bring, you've taken your ship, the Calculated Adherence, to the near edge of space and have been slowly jumping from system to system searching for any sign of them.

While waiting for the drive to spool up for the next jump, your comms system burst to life. A fast, sharpish voice squawked over the speakers - and audio only transmission. Your voice-to-text screen immediately began making its words readable.

On the console appeared "Ques exion kesvar? Olgolanoanozeah kesvar!" The statement repeated three times before it stopped, the radio became mute once again. The words persisted on the screen, staring back as you stared into them. What are your next actions, captain?
